On 7th March 2022, Smart4wrd team has visited the Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science & Technology (CREST) in Penang, and had a meeting together with Industry4WRD Secretariat, the representatives from Electrical & Electronics Productivity Nexus, NCIA Technology Innovation Centre and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Highlights of the meeting:
- Introduction about Smart4wrd and CREST and their initiatives of Industry 4.0
- Discussion on the availability of Industry4.0 technologies and solutions locally
- Open discussion on what can be done to bring these solutions to benefit SMEs at a lower cost.
Smart4wrd is continuously exploring collaborative opportunities to realize our objectives in speeding up Malaysian Industry 4.0 adoption.
