Yet, the responses from the ground signal that the adoption of Industry 4.0 among manufacturers is still low and slow.
Digital transformation of manufacturers is vital for Malaysia to compete in the global market. SMEs need to advance themselves to stay competitive and compete in the global market. Malaysian manufacturers need to be in the race of industry 4.0 or it will be out of the game.
Smart4wrd is an initiative to address manufacturers concerns and challenges to adopt Industry 4.0. It is a collaborative partnership of manufacturers, technology and solution providers, trade industry associations and relevant government agencies. Smart4wrd.my act as the knowledge hub consolidating essential updates, guidance and consultation for parties interested to step on the smart manufacturing journey together. Other smart4wrd initiatives include surveys, web forum series, e-newsletters, webinars, corporate visits.
