KickStart My Smart Manufacturing Journey Programme
We are thrilled to share the resounding success of the “KickStart My Smart
Manufacturing Journey Programme,” which took place on July 18, 2023, at the SHRDC in Shah Alam. Organized by Smart4wrd, the event aimed to kickstart
the smart manufacturing journey for manufacturers by providing them with
one-to-one consultations and access to cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies
and solutions.
The event drew an impressive turnout, with 35 registered recipients, out of which
85% were C-Level executives, showcasing the high level of interest and importance placed on smart manufacturing in today’s industrial landscape.
Leading Industry 4.0 drivers such as SHRDC, SmartB, FSBM MES Elite, Unifi Business, MIDF, T-Robot, and Bizsphere participated in the event, offering valuable
consultation and support to participants. Manufacturers gained valuable insights into various Industry 4.0 technologies, including ERP, MES, cloud computing, warehouse management, robotics, and automation. Furthermore, they had the unique opportunity to witness Malaysia’s Smart Factory 4.0 in action and explore digital transformation roadmaps and pre-screening of loan applications with financing rate as low as 4%.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, expressing satisfaction with gaining a comprehensive understanding of how smart manufacturing works. The event provided them with the clarity and direction they needed to initiate or
continue their smart manufacturing journey, all under one roof.
The event also included a briefing on the prestigious Malaysia Smart Manufacturing
Award 2023, presented by Mr. Yap Keng Teck, Head of Smart4wrd. Co-organized by
MIDF, Smart4wrd, and Bizsphere, and endorsed by the Ministry of Investment,
Trade, and Industry (MITI), this award aims to recognize and celebrate the
commitment of organizations in driving advancements in the manufacturing sector, particularly in embracing Industry 4.0 technologies and practices. Manufacturers
and manufacturing-related service companies are encouraged to submit their
nominations via www.msma.com.my.
